Show us how you build a better monster by posting up any Frankenstein art you may have done (sketches, illustrations, paintings, vectors, whatever!). It can be a Frank you've had lying around or a new one for this open art jam.
Let's see your Frankenstein!

Here's an ink sketch I just finished of the creature...

Hey, I got one too! I took inspiration from the actual story description from Mary Shelly's classic novel (which is actually one of my favorites) and the WetWorks iteration from the 1990s, which I thought was kinda cool actually.

Cool!!
Great Frankenstein, man. Yeah, I really like the original version of the monster myself as you get the total picture on his relationship with Victor and exactly why he became a menace, and is what I'm following on the Psychoverse version. The one amendment to the original I think works well enough to put in though is the Bride. The movies nailed it with that perfect little twist.
Too bad about the "package" though. No fun for Frankenstein. ;D

I know...I thought to myself, Why would he have one? He can't use it. It would just be window dressing and, let's face it, it's not very attractive. Makes him more creepy I think...
Yeah, the Bride is great. And she's already got such a great look....Hmmm....perhaps that should be our next challenge? And maybe I'll take a shot at the bolt necked version...

Very cool, Ramon. I like it! Especially the Disney bird that is almost most certainly about to meet a grisly fate.

A friend of mine (and local comic shop owner) has a few shows he puts together to use on cable access and YouTube. He does a segment called "Quick Draw" and on this installment he does a pretty cool Frankenstein!

Ha. And I think he had it lightly sketched to start with. But he is a talented artist with a very traditional style and will be taking over as penciller on a local indie book called Living With Zombies very soon. Check out his other Quick Draws as he's done mostly superhero characters.

Ha. Well he sketches out the drawings in his other Quick Draws so I assumed he did it here too, but I could be wrong. Maybe he just has a crazy good sense of drawing Frankenstein. Hm, maybe I should ask him for a pin-up for DI?
