I know I posted this elsewhere, but wanted to share it here also. ComicSpace. It's the cool new thing and an interesting new social mixer for comic-minded folks like us. But if you find the link here then please help out and put a 'psychotronik comics' in your user tags or links. Thanks!

If anyone is interested, this is my collection of toy robots. ;D You can't really see my tin wind-up Bender and Gort, but trust me. They are cool.

I also have wind up Bender, and he is cool. Maybe I'll post some of my collection, which consists of a lot of Marvel Legends figures and random toys from random genres. Just give me a few days to work out my sweet new digital camera.

i have a bunch of toys but not so much that it would look impressive in a picture... my 3 foot tall gene simmons would stick out like a swore thumb.
i have a bunch of random comic ones, a few surviving ninja turtles (but all are in some kinda wacky disguise like a detective or a surfer or my favorite, a yankee soldier during the civil war) and then i ahve like a bunch of nineties batmans and the full lineups of metallica and kiss... and a really big eddie from iron maiden. but in a picture it would looks foolish since its not really a theme like robots... although i am looking there and i see not a SINGLE beast war, wuzzupwitdat?!?

You should post them up anyway, Ramon! Sounds like some cool stuff. I have like NO Transformers. I just haven't come across more since I've been working on this collection. I'd love to have a Jazz, Grimlock, or Optimus Prime from the original toys but they are probably wicked expensive.

I'll take some pics tonight and get them up. It's nice to show off my geekitude with people who will truely appreciate it.
And yeah, the old Transformers are now pretty damn expensive Bran. I have a broken Optimus and Grimlock from G1 but I have to repair them before I put them back up on display. I also have the original Jetfire which was essentially a Veritech from the old Robotech show.

Yeah, like with the Jetfire I think later on the Transformers did that some, taking toys from other lines and repackaging them as Autobots and Decepticons. Can't say I've ever seen the silver and white Optimus, sounds cool. Another one of my fave Transformers though was Soundwave, with the little cassettes that turned into birds and panthers. He'd be great to have.
Maybe they will reissue the originals or something when the movie comes out. Some of the designs for the movie look cool though so if they aren't too expensive maybe I'll just snag a few of those.
