I love that show, I seriously used to watch it every night on nick at nite when i was like 10. my favorite is when they got jobs as wielders and hit on eachother without knowing it and both felt guilty for having feelings for another person when it was them all along. madness.
if you have seen house of 1000 corpses, its awesome because they were authorized to use the clip of the heasrt racing and the grandpa in the movie is kickass.

Ha. I've seen that one. I used to religiously watch Munsters and Addams Family as a youngster, so again, a good part of the reason why this comic is being made. I haven't seen H1KC yet. (Is that the right abbreviation?) But I want to. I went to get it like a month ago when I first started gearing up for doing this and was looking for movies to watch but it was out at the store I stopped at. Yeah, go figure. I know it's more 70s grindhouse and I'd really like to see it. The newer, flashy horror movies just aren't the same to the old school stuff. The ones that actually aren't remakes that is.

Addams too. I actually probably prefer the Addams because I was young during the remake of the Addams and I gotta tell ya, I love those movies. accept the last one, it was just stupid, it didnt have raul julia, christina ricci, or christopher lloyd.
also the addams were pyschos where as the monsters were just friendly monsters, as a young boy the fact that the addams were total maniacs appealed to me more.
also puglsy would whoop eddies ass. no contest. wolfman or not pugsly has that one.

I think its the proper abbreviation, if not who cares i know what you mean. It definitely was more grindhouse the the new flashy ones, but the new trend is too be grindhouse and that really just doesnt work for them. if you look at all these new torture movies that are coming out (saw, hostel, wolf creek) they all boast grittiness but they lack substance. so its like fluff but the fluff is all just gorey violence. also check out devils rejects if you havent yet, it isnt so much horror as a road movie(more like bonnie and clyde than texas chainsaw massacre), but he does interesting things with characters in it, i like it.

Yeah, they've been showing Addams Family on Sat. nights on one of the cable channels around 11 o'clock. Truly bizarre and abstract television. It amazes me that the show was ever made considering some of the really dark themes, but it was all for laughs so I guess that's okay. Heh. I know they did that last movie and even had a new show on for awhile but yeah, nothing anywhere near the show or the first two movies. The Munsters wasn't nearly as smart of a show (they used fast motion in every episode for pete's sake) but was cool all in it's own way. The movie, Munster, Go Home, was pretty good too. I definately want to see the two Rob Z. movies and Saw. Just have to actually have a day off now to do that.

saw is good, but not in the same spirit. I would place it more with the crazy ass japanese horror movies that are out there.

Right, good one!
My favorite book on the Verotik site there is "Grub Girl: Zombie Hooker"! Ha!
Edit: Oh wait, there's a DVD adult film for Grub Girl recently released, directed by someone named Craven Moorehead no less!
